Oasis covering The Beatles

Here is a bootleg I have compiled & created that I've entitled "Long Live The Walrus" which includes all the Beatles songs Oasis have covered throughout the years.

Set:

- You've Got To Hide Your Love Away (WTSMG extra track on Japanese release, and played live acoustic during a Noel radio performance) - I Am The Walrus (numerous occasions) - Come Together (Noel on Guitar, The Smokin` Mojo Filters) - Day Tripper (live with Ocean Colour Scene, Noel on Guitar, Liam on vocals) - Helter Skelter (noel played it at tibetan freedom concert in 97, and a few other times in 99 and extra track on FTM) - Strawberry Fields (recent acoustic tour, noel on conan o'brien soundcheck 02) - Help (played acoustic occasionally in 9 - Gotta Get You Into My Life (sung as an outro for Round Are Way, live 95) - Octapus Garden (outro on many Whatever acoustic performances in 94-96) - Eleanor Rigby (Noel on soundcheck for the Conan O'Brien show in 2002) - All You Need Is Love (with stereophonics in 00) - I'm Only Sleeping (with stereophonics in 00) - Tomorrow Never Knows (with stereophonics in 00)

- All tracks normalized to 98% in Adobe Audition 1.5, with smooth fade-in's and fade-'out's for smooth track transition. - The Conan O'Brien soundcheck files were heavily edited to bring the best audio quality from what was available. - I've also dropped out any parts of the songs that weren't Beatle related, so that for songs like Octapus Garden, it starts off by fading in right before Noel starts singing "I'd like to be, under the sea.." - Track 6, Octapus Garden was performed as an outro to Whatever - Track 7, Gotta Get You Into My Life was performed as an outro to Round Are Way - Many thanks to Louise from stopcryingyourheartout.com for the great cover artwork! Changes since first post: - I ended up going through about 16 different live versions of I Am The Walrus and ended up changing it to i am the walrus live from sweden 94, which was a much much better version than the metro 94. - Tracklisting worked out - Cover art included (many thanks to Louise from stopcryingyourheartout.com for the great artwork!!) - All tracks normalized to 98% in Adobe Audition 1.5, with smooth fade-in's and fade-'out's for smooth track transition - All tracks properly tagged and ready to go Still Needed: - Album artwork for the back.
